Book a pickup through the app, leave your bags of bottles and cans at your chosen location (front door, back door, backyard, etc.), and a DepotDash driver will come pick them up. We count your containers and deposit your refund into your DepotDash wallet. Cash out anytime via Interac e-Transfer.
Is there a fee for pickups?
Pickups are free when your refund total is over $10. If your refund is under $10, a small service fee may apply.
How do I get paid?
After your containers are counted, your refund is added to your DepotDash wallet. You can request a payout at any time via Interac e-Transfer, and the money goes directly to your bank.
How long does a pickup take?
You choose a time of day — morning, afternoon, or evening — and our driver will come during that window. You don’t need to be home; just leave your bags at the location you specified.
What areas do you serve?
We currently serve Edmonton and surrounding communities including St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, Leduc, and more. New areas are being added regularly.
How many bags can I have picked up?
No hard cap on a regular pickup. For really big loads — 20+ bags from a move, reno, or event — book a large haul and we bring a bigger vehicle.
Can I donate my refund?
Yes. You can donate part or all of your refund to a local charity directly through the app. You can also set up auto-donate to automatically give a percentage of every future pickup.
Can I set up recurring pickups?
Yes. You can schedule recurring pickups so a driver comes on a regular basis without you having to book each time.
How do I delete my account?
Submit a request on our data-deletion page (the "Delete my data" link is in the site footer). We remove data that can be deleted while keeping records required by law.
